Peace, Love & Boogie Woogie Happy Hour brings Bill Starks and Greg Hardin to Hank Dietle’s Tavern for an early-evening performance spanning rock ’n’ roll, honky tonk, boogie woogie, blues, and Americana. Starks is an award-winning songwriter and keyboardist known for his energetic piano style and genre-blending Americana, while Hardin is a veteran DC-area bassist, vocalist, songwriter, and band member.

Starks has performed with Ruthie and the Wranglers, the NRBQ tribute group Me & the Boys, and BandHouse Gigs. His song “300 Miles from Memphis To New Orleans” received WAMA’s Song of the Year honor, and he was named WAMA Songwriter of the Year in 2015. He has also released the solo albums *I See Trouble* and *Do You Hear Me Now?* on Azalea City Recordings.

Hardin has been active in the DC-area music scene for more than 40 years. His credits include Jr. Cline and the Recliners, Ruthie and the Wranglers, and The 19th Street Band, as well as production work for BandHouse Gigs tribute shows. He has released solo material including *Meet Mr. Knuckles* and won WAMA’s 2007 Song of the Year award for “Babe Ruth’s Piano.”
