Conversations at The Kreeger Museum

Conversations at The Kreeger Museum is a program for people with mild to moderate memory disorders and their caregivers. Through art and music, each session creates opportunities for dialogue, reflection, and social connection in the museum setting. The program is intended to reduce stress while encouraging communication and sociability.

Each hour-long session combines an interactive gallery discussion with a musical component. The fall schedule features discussions of works by Isamu Noguchi and Pablo Picasso, including Picasso’s *Still Life with Ears of Wheat* for the October session and *At the Café* for the December session. A participant’s family member describes the experience as especially meaningful for someone who enjoys art and music, noting that it brings joy and lifts her spirits.

When: October 26 and December 7

Showtimes: 11:00 a.m. for each session

Run time: One hour per session

Program: The October 26 session focuses on Pablo Picasso’s *Still Life with Ears of Wheat* (1943). The December 7 session focuses on Picasso’s *At the Café* (1901). The program also includes an August 24 session centered on Isamu Noguchi’s *Soliloquy* (1962).

Registration: Advance registration is required, and space is limited. Participants should reserve only one space and provide the names of both the participant and caregiver during registration.
