WAA – Grand café de la rentrée
WAA’s Grand café de la rentrée is a welcoming social and networking breakfast hosted by Washington Accueil Association. The gathering is an opportunity to learn about WAA, meet its volunteers and French-speaking partner organizations in the Washington, DC area, discover the association’s clubs and activities for the coming year, and renew membership. Guests can enjoy a breakfast buffet with coffee and croissants while getting acquainted with the organization.
The event is open to everyone, including both WAA members and nonmembers. Volunteers will be available to answer questions, but advance registration is required because the event takes place on Embassy of France grounds.

Registration: Advance registration is mandatory. Nonmembers should contact the organizers by email to register. Attendees should have an Eventbrite ticket, either printed or available on a phone.
Program: Introduction to Washington Accueil Association, its activities and clubs, membership renewal, and opportunities to meet French-speaking partner organizations in the DC region.
Food and drink: Breakfast buffet with coffee and croissants.
Ages: Open to all; members and nonmembers are welcome.

Security: Allow extra time for the security check. A valid photo ID is required, and the name on the Eventbrite ticket must match the name on the ID. Guest names can be added or updated through Eventbrite.
Baggage restrictions: Large bags, umbrellas, backpacks, and bicycle helmets are not permitted on Embassy grounds. Security may confiscate items deemed inappropriate.
Parking: There is no on-site parking. Metered parking is available on Reservoir Road for $2.30 per hour, for a maximum of four hours until 10:00 p.m. Garage parking is available at Georgetown MedStar Health through Entrance 2 at 2800 Reservoir Road NW, at approximately $25 for up to three hours.
