Criminal Presents: Don't Worry with Phoebe Judge

Criminal host and co-creator Phoebe Judge brings an intimate, darkly comic live storytelling show to 9:30 Club. Drawing on her upbringing in an eccentric and unpredictable Chicago family, Judge explores the family secrets she encountered and the ways they influenced her personal life and work as a journalist and true-crime podcast host.

The show expands on the spirit of the podcast Criminal, which focuses on people who have done wrong, been wronged, or found themselves somewhere in between. Judge also shares stories about herself and the people she loves. She is known for hosting and co-creating Criminal, This Is Love, and Phoebe Reads a Mystery. Her previous work includes radio reporting and producing, coverage of the BP oil spill and Hurricane Katrina, and multiple Edward R. Murrow and Associated Press awards.
