Holy Rollers, a foundational band of the Washington, D.C. post-hardcore scene, reunites for a one-night-only show at Black Cat. Formed in 1989, the group is known for blending punk energy with layered harmonies, shifting dynamics, and unconventional song structures, drawing comparisons to Fugazi and the Soft Boys. After disbanding in 1995, the band reunited in 2025 for Positive Force’s 40th Anniversary and has continued as an ongoing project. The current lineup includes founding members Joey Aronstamn and Marc Lambiotte, along with drummer Ed Trask (Avail, Kepone) and bassist Graham McCulloch (Negative Approach), who joined in 2026. Joining Holy Rollers on this bill are HAMMERED HULLS and THE OWNERS.
