Seth Kibel & Flo Anito Swing Dance

Seth Kibel and Flo Anito lead an evening of swing-oriented music at Hank Dietle’s Tavern, combining Kibel’s virtuosic saxophone, clarinet, and flute playing with Anito’s distinctive songwriting and powerful vocals. They are joined by Sean Lane, William Ledbetter, and Nick Ruggieri for a set suited to both swing dancers and listeners.

Kibel is a prominent Mid-Atlantic woodwind specialist and a featured performer with The Kleztet, Bay Jazz Project, Music Pilgrim Trio, and The Natty Beaux. He has received 28 Washington Area Music Awards, including honors for world music and jazz instrumentalist, and released his latest album, *Clown With A Stick*, in May 2023.

Anito has performed at major regional venues including Strathmore, Wolf Trap, Merriweather, the Birchmere, Blues Alley, and the Fillmore, and recently completed her first European tour. A classically trained vocalist, pianist, and cellist, she studied under Anthony Braxton at Wesleyan and has received multiple Wammy nominations in pop/rock, jazz, and Americana.
