Big Moments, Little Stories
Big Moments, Little Stories is a free weekly storytime program presented by the Smithsonian's Anacostia Community Museum on Friday mornings from June 5 through September 25, 2026. Each session is built around the museum’s latest exhibition, *We Make History*, and invites young children, families, and caregivers to experience the power of everyday moments as they become part of shared history. After a lively storybook reading, participants move into a hands-on art activity where they create their own artwork inspired by the story or exhibition themes, exploring how the present can become the stories we tell tomorrow.
