Shanghai Ballet: Giselle

Shanghai Ballet, one of Asia’s foremost ballet companies, brings its acclaimed production of *Giselle* to the George Mason University Center for the Arts. This Romantic masterpiece, choreographed by Marius Petipa with an adaptation by Xin Lili, weaves a story of love, betrayal, and supernatural transformation. The company’s refined technique and expressive artistry shine in Act I’s buoyant village dances and Act II’s ethereal white ballet, where Giselle joins the ghostly Wilis.
