The Smithsonian Chamber Players present a program of virtuoso music by Georg Philipp Telemann and Johann Sebastian Bach, joined by members of the Smithsonian Academy Orchestra. The repertoire includes Telemann’s concerto for four violins and Bach’s Concerto for Violin, Oboe, and Strings, BWV 1060R.

Venue: Music Hall, National Museum of American History.

Performers: The Smithsonian Chamber Players, featuring Priscilla Herreid on recorder and baroque oboe, Edwin Huizinga on baroque violin, Kenneth Slowik on viola da gamba, and Webb Wiggins on harpsichord, with members of the Smithsonian Academy Orchestra.

Program: Virtuoso works by Georg Philipp Telemann (1681–1767) and Johann Sebastian Bach (1685–1750), including a Telemann concerto for four violins and Bach’s Concerto for Violin, Oboe, and Strings, BWV 1060R.
