Read the Room

Read the Room is a crowd-work comedy showcase hosted and produced by Tim Miller at DC Improv’s lounge showroom. The show features a lineup of local comedians performing predominantly crowd work: the art of talking with audience members onstage, creating a conversational atmosphere that can lead into prepared material or entirely spontaneous laughs.

Miller is known for engaging audiences and drawing comedy from everyday life, with material shaped by experiences ranging from Waco and the Army to the White House and raising a daughter. He has appeared on truTV, performed at Comedy Central’s 2019 Clusterfest, and won several DC Improv Comedy Kumite competitions. The lineup for this performance has not yet been announced.
