Alyssa Grace brings her headlining *Wanna Be Singer Tour* to Lincoln Theatre DC. The 19-year-old singer-songwriter from Torrance, California blends acoustic-rooted songwriting with candid, emotionally direct lyrics about trauma, self-doubt, personal growth, toxic relationships, attachment, and the experience of loving and being loved.
Grace’s breakout came with “bloodstream,” a song about overcoming emotional trauma that reached the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States and Canada and the Top 40 in the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand after collecting 2 million release-day streams. She followed it with “dog with a bone,” about toxic love, and “picking petals,” a lush song about heartbreak. Her debut EP, *spilling my guts*, expands those themes into a larger narrative and features production from Steven Martinez and Idarose.
