Coco Live-to-Film Concert

Disney Pixar’s *Coco* comes to Strathmore as a live-to-film concert, with the complete movie projected while Michael Giacchino’s Oscar- and Grammy-winning score is performed live by the 20-member Orquesta Folclórica Nacional de México. The program also includes the Academy Award-winning song “Remember Me,” by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, along with additional songs co-written by Germaine Franco and co-director and screenwriter Adrian Molina.

The film follows Miguel, a boy whose family has prohibited music for generations but who dreams of becoming a musician like his idol, Ernesto de la Cruz. After a mysterious series of events, Miguel enters the colorful Land of the Dead, where he meets the trickster Héctor and uncovers the truth about his family. Miguel is voiced by Anthony Gonzalez; Ernesto de la Cruz is voiced by Benjamin Bratt; and Héctor is voiced by Gael García Bernal. Lee Unkrich directed the film, with Adrian Molina as co-director and Darla K. Anderson as producer.
