Ch/Art on the Avenue
Ch/Art on the Avenue is a neighborhood-wide outdoor exhibition bringing original artwork by local Ch/Art member artists to storefront windows along Connecticut Avenue in Chevy Chase. The project is presented in conjunction with Art All Night and Art Walk weekend, allowing passersby to experience local art without entering a gallery.
Beginning in early September, selected works will be displayed at participating businesses, including Core 72, Artsy Beast, Park Story, Child’s Play, and June B Sweet, as well as the vacant storefront next to Artsy Beast that formerly housed Happy Go Bicycles. The exhibition is organized by Ch/Art, a nonprofit founded in 2018 with more than 150 member artists and a mission of expanding access to art through exhibitions, educational programs, and hands-on creative activities.
