BANDITS ON THE RUN
Bandits on the Run, a folk trio from the Brooklyn-Queens border, bring their theatrical indie-folk to Songbyrd Music House for a single-night performance. Formed after a chance meeting busking on the subway, Adrian Blake Enscoe, Sydney Shepherd, and Regina Strayhorn trade off lead vocals and instruments, weaving acoustic, electric, and bass guitar with cello, accordion, and suitcase kick-drums, occasionally even a megaphone. Their three-part harmonies have graced iconic venues, including opening for The Wood Brothers’ 2025 East Coast tour, main stages at Rocky Mount Folks Fest and Blissfest, and a sold-out residency at Manhattan’s Bowery Electric. Their songs have been featured on NPR’s Tiny Desk, The Moth Story Slam, Netflix’s *Ask the StoryBots*, and the film *The Same Storm*. They tour nationally and internationally, with appearances at Cambridge Folk Festival, Floydfest, Summerfest Milwaukee, Americanafest, F1 Singapore Grand Prix, and Mile of Music. Their work adapting text for a musical production of *As You Like It* became the EP *The Shakespeare Tapes*.
