Study Hall

Sun, Oct 18, 2026at 11:00 AM
6950 Maple Street Northwest, Washington, DC
$0-$10

Study Hall is a participatory salon for sharing the kinds of topics, questions, discoveries, and creative work that might come up during unstructured time between classes. Presentations can cover nearly anything, and participants do not need to be experts or have definitive answers; an intriguing question or discussion prompt is welcome. Artwork in visual, audio, written, or other forms may also be shared for the group to consider.

At the event, attendees sign up to present, with the option to add a topic to the agenda in advance. Presentations have no fixed time limit and may develop into an informal question-and-answer conversation as others join in. Discussions use Chatham House rules, meaning attendees may use information they hear but may not identify the speakers, their affiliations, or other participants.
