“Out With It” by Claire Saxe

“Out With It” is a playful, lyrical performance for all ages by Claire Saxe. It follows a tidy clown who encounters an unexpected opponent: her own joyful disorder. Using movement, clowning, and puppetry made from everyday found objects, the show turns ordinary items into characters in a funny, tender exploration of what we keep inside and what we eventually learn to release.

The performance is part of Reston Community Center’s Professional Touring Artist Series and is categorized as family-friendly theatre and performing arts, with music and concert programming also associated with the event.
