14th Annual Christmas Markt

The 14th Annual Christmas Markt is a four-day holiday market in the Heurich House Museum’s Castle Garden, featuring exclusively local makers. Running since 2013, the curated market highlights emerging artisans and offers a seasonal shopping experience while supporting the museum’s educational, community, and arts-access programs.

Christmas Markt also serves as an incubator for local craft businesses. More than 1,000 makers have used the market as a business-growth opportunity, and the museum focuses on beginner and intermediate businesses that may have limited staff, little wholesale activity, or difficulty affording vendor fees at larger multi-week holiday markets. Proceeds are the museum’s largest annual fundraising source and provide approximately 15% of its annual budget.
