The Originals Fall 2026
The Originals Fall 2026 is a theatrical showcase presented by the George Mason School of Theater, highlighting the creative work of the university’s student playwrights and performers. This event celebrates original new works in a variety of formats, from traditional ten-minute plays to musicals, giving audiences a chance to experience the imaginative storytelling coming out of George Mason’s theater program. Each performance brings together the school’s talented students as they present this year’s Originals, offering a diverse and fresh evening of theater.
The production runs over two days on the Fairfax Campus, with three performance times total. The Friday evening performance includes both an ASL-interpreted and an audio-described presentation, making the show more accessible to a wider audience. The program will be published digitally in the week leading up to the event.
