Alfredo Mojica Group

Alfredo Mojica Group brings a lively salsa performance to Bossa Bistro & Lounge, led by percussionist and vocalist Alfredo Mojica. A central figure in Washington’s salsa scene, Mojica was born in Central America and began performing at a young age alongside celebrated artists including Celia Cruz, Eddie Palmieri, Willie Colón, Dizzy Gillespie, Buddy Rich, El Gran Combo, and Ray Barretto.

Mojica moves between timbales, congas, and bongos while singing salsa standards with an expressive style. He is joined by a rotating group of accomplished musicians for a dance-focused set featuring salsa, bachata, merengue, and more.
