Catherine Meeks — Bridging the Rivers of Difference: A Proclamation of Unity in Resistance — at Conn Ave
Catherine Meeks, a noted scholar and activist, presents her new book *Bridging the Rivers of Difference: A Proclamation of Unity in Resistance* in a discussion that tackles the current climate of dehumanization, systemic racism, and the rollback of diversity initiatives. Drawing on decades of work in racial justice, Meeks offers collaborative strategies to combat othering and white supremacy, addressing issues such as immigration policy, voting rights, and zoning practices. She argues that resistance and solidarity are essential to dismantling hierarchies of human value and calls for unity across communities.
