Rockville Pike 2000-2025: Then and Now
Rockville Pike 2000–2025: Then and Now is an illustrated presentation about the dramatic changes along one of the region’s most familiar thoroughfares. Peerless Rockville welcomes local resident Mollie Habermeier to share before-and-after photographs documenting how Rockville Pike has evolved over the past 25 years, including sites that have disappeared, been redeveloped, or taken on entirely new identities.
The presentation looks at locations such as the former Park Inn motel, Allied Plywood lumber yard, White Flint Mall, Mid-Pike Plaza’s transformation into Pike & Rose, and the replacement of Fuddruckers by Tesla. It also considers what has remained unchanged along the Pike.
