Ricitos and the Three Bears
This bilingual musical adaptation from Teatro SEA reimagines the Goldilocks story in a vibrant family-friendly production. Audiences join the ever-curious Ricitos (Goldilocks) as she discovers the home of three bears, samples their sancocho (stew), and tries out their chairs. Through original songs and laugh-out-loud surprises, the story explores themes of compassion and forgiveness, showing how new friendships can emerge from unexpected encounters. The performance is presented at Wolf Trap’s Children’s Theatre-in-the-Woods, an open-air venue nestled in the park, and is recommended for children ages 4–12.

Showtimes: 10:30 AM each day. Gates open at 10 AM.
Tickets: $14 per ticket (includes fees); children under 2 are free. Discounts are available for groups of 10 or more (inquire for details). Additionally, a "Pick 3 and Save" offer allows you to buy tickets to three or more Children’s Theatre-in-the-Woods shows and get $2 off every ticket.
Venue: Children’s Theatre-in-the-Woods at Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts, 1551 Trap Road, Vienna, VA 22182. Free parking is provided; park rangers will direct you to parking locations. After parking, enjoy a short, scenic walk to the theater—less than half a mile down a hill, across a bridge, and along a wooded trail. A stroller is recommended for the walk.
Seating: General admission, first come, first served. Seats are on wooden benches; after a rainy evening, consider bringing a towel to dry off your seat. Food and beverages (other than water) are not allowed in the seated area.

Note: Pack a picnic to enjoy in the Meadow after the show; concessions and Ovations are not open during Children’s Theatre-in-the-Woods performances. After the show, you can join a Park Ranger for an outdoor adventure and earn a Junior Ranger Badge, or explore trails and play in the Meadow with free games, toys, and kid-friendly activities.
