Ryan Lee Crosby
Ryan Lee Crosby brings Rhode Island-rooted guitar and vocals to Hank Dietle’s Tavern for an evening of Bentonia and Hill Country blues. The performance celebrates his album *At the Blue Front*, recorded live on analog tape at the historic Blue Front Cafe in Bentonia, Mississippi, with legendary bluesman Jimmy “Duck” Holmes.
Crosby’s shimmering electric 12-string guitar and singing are joined on the album by Jay Scheffler’s harmonica and Grant Smith’s calabash and shekere percussion. The music combines original songs, traditional blues influences, hypnotic grooves, and spontaneous interplay.
