A World Without Them

A World Without Them is a visually rich, emotionally resonant work about extinction in its many forms: the disappearance of species, cultures, languages, voices and individual lives. Created by Deaf artist Landon Krentz and Ghost River Theatre’s Eric Rose, the production combines physical theatre with visual vernacular, a storytelling form grounded in Deaf expression. Gesture takes the place of spoken dialogue and movement carries the meaning, creating a work that celebrates Deaf artistry, honors those who came before and asks how the future can preserve every story.
