New Year’s Eve with THE SELDOM SCENE and TIM & SAVANNAH FINCH & THE EASTMAN STRING BAND

Celebrate New Year’s Eve with progressive bluegrass institution The Seldom Scene, joined by Tim & Savannah Finch and the Eastman String Band. The Seldom Scene brings more than five decades of inventive musicianship, combining original and traditional bluegrass with spirited reinterpretations of songs by artists such as Merle Haggard and James Taylor.

The Eastman String Band’s performances feature soaring harmonies, energetic instrumental work, and heartfelt original songs. Tim and Savannah Finch began playing together at Friday-night jams at Tim’s former music store, Good Deale Bluegrass, in Deale, Maryland. Since marrying in 2003, they have performed at weddings, private events, and prominent Mid-Atlantic venues, and have released two albums of original music.
