Blitzkid

Blitzkid brings its horror-punk sound to Pearl Street as part of the Modern Hel Tour, supporting MODERN HEL, the band’s first full-length studio album in 16 years. The performance will combine long-standing favorites with new songs that expand the group’s dark, melodic punk style into more aggressive thrash and hardcore territory.

Washington, DC punk band Savage Remains opens the show with fast, forceful songs inspired by horror films, B-movie creatures, and post-apocalyptic fiction. Their sound draws from hardcore punk, the Misfits, Rancid, the Ramones, and The Cramps.

Blitzkid: Founded in 1997, Blitzkid is recognized as one of modern horror punk’s influential bands. The group is known for energetic punk performances, ominous atmospheres, melodic hooks, and anthemic choruses. Its international touring history includes appearances at festivals such as Wave Gotik Treffen and Wacken Open Air.

Album: The show supports MODERN HEL, Blitzkid’s first full-length release in 16 years. The album retains the band’s haunting melodies while adding heavier riffs and a stronger thrash and hardcore influence.

Tour: The Modern Hel Tour runs across the United States from October through December and features both catalog classics and new material.

Savage Remains: Savage Remains is a Washington, DC punk band whose songs focus on vampires, monsters, horror-film imagery, and end-of-the-world scenarios. The group combines hardcore intensity with memorable hooks and cinematic storytelling.
