STARCLEANER REUNION: TOUR FOR A RAINY DAY

New Jersey indie band Starcleaner Reunion brings their jangly, noise-infused alt-rock to Songbyrd Music House for a one-night show on September 24, 2026. The band—vocalist and tambourine player Jo Roman, guitarists Pat Drummond and Neil Torman, and bassist Adam Kenter—formed after meeting in high school in Springfield, New Jersey, bonding over Brazilian psych, C86 jangle, and ’90s noise. Their name comes from a 1970s children’s book about magical beings that return light to the sky. Their first EP, 2023’s *Club Estrella*, was recorded quickly and captures innocent, kaleidoscopic bursts of alt-rock, while the 2024 follow-up EP *Café Life* aimed to expand the band’s universe. After extensive touring, the group has refined their sound, and new material—introduced through the single “Weather Instrument”—is described as their most expansive and ambitious yet, blending poetic abstraction, recombinant collage, and sonic craftsmanship.
