Summer Intensive Showcase 2026

This showcase features two distinct performances—“Show A” and “Show B”—each presented twice over the two-day run. The performances highlight the skills developed by students in The Washington Ballet’s summer intensive program, with each show comprising a series of short pieces identified by color names and dance styles (ballet, contemporary, jazz, character, flamenco). The event is free, though advance reservation is required, and seating is general admission.

When: July 23–24, 2026.
Showtimes: Thursday, July 23 at 2:30 PM (Show A) and 4:15 PM (Show B); Friday, July 24 at 2:00 PM (Show B) and 3:00 PM (Show A).
Tickets: Free, but reservations are required. A maximum of 3 tickets per family. The confirmation email serves as the ticket.
Run time: Approximately 35 minutes per performance.
Seating: General admission.
Lineup: Show A features pieces titled Blue (ballet), Pink (ballet), Aqua (character), Blue (jazz), Pink (ballet), Aqua (ballet). Show B features pieces titled Green (ballet), Red (ballet), Plum (contemporary), Green (flamenco), Red (flamenco), Plum (ballet).
