Instagram Growth Workshop w/Sam Shelton

Instagram Growth Workshop with artist Sam Shelton is a practical, hands-on session about using Instagram and related Meta platforms to promote a business, creative practice, or organization. Shelton, a resident artist at the Torpedo Factory Art Center, has grown her combined Instagram, Facebook, and Threads following to more than 50,000 in the past three years. She is also part of Instagram’s creator network and has been invited to participate in its bonus program.

The workshop covers account and post types, captions and hashtags, strategies for increasing followers and engagement, collaborations with the Arts Club of Washington and other artists or organizations, direct-message marketing, and monetization. Participants will receive personalized suggestions based on a review of their Instagram account, a takeaway handout, and time for questions.
