Art-Play-Practice Open Play Hours
Begin your Friday at Phillips@THEARC with Art-Play-Practice Open Play Hours, an immersive play space inspired by Sam Gilliam’s celebrated work *Broad Cape*. This free, drop-in experience invites families to explore hands-on art activities and spark creativity. A complimentary art supply giveaway bag—filled with materials for continued making at home—is available to each visitor while supplies last. The event is part of an ongoing series at THEARC, offering a welcoming community environment for all ages to engage with contemporary art through play and practice.
When: Friday, July 17, 2026, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Tickets: Free admission; no advance registration required.
Run time: Four hours of open play; guests may come and go during that window.
Ages: Suitable for all ages; families with young children especially encouraged.
