Clay and Community

“Clay and Community” is an exhibition about the relationships that sustain the ceramic arts. It brings together group works, collaborative projects, and examples of shared studio practice, emphasizing connections among artists and mentors, students and teachers, makers and collectors, and the wider community.

The exhibition considers how clay fosters collaboration through the exchange of techniques, shared kiln resources, collective firings, and the communal experience of making. Although each ceramic piece is created by individual hands, the exhibition highlights how ceramics grows through conversation, mentorship, and shared experience. It is presented in conjunction with Art Safari and with the Ceramic Guild.
