Cut-Paste-Portal: Interactive Zine-making

Cut-Paste-Portal is a hands-on zine-making workshop presented by the Maryland Institute for Technology in the Humanities (MITH) and NarraSpaceXR. Participants will explore both physical and digital fabrication by cutting and pasting zines, then adding an augmented-reality dimension using preset 3D objects or their own 3D digital designs.

No prior experience is needed, and everyone is welcome. The workshop is part of NextNOW Fest, the University of Maryland’s multidisciplinary arts festival connecting performances, technology, creativity and community.
