Dancing On The Waterfront at The Wharf

Dancing on the Waterfront at The Wharf is a free weekly dance series held at M Street Landing. Each Thursday evening from September 10 through October 8, 2026, instructors and DJs from Dancing on the Waterfront will introduce a Latin dance style, followed by open dancing along the waterfront.

All ages are welcome, making the event suitable for families as well as date nights. Guests can purchase Heineken at the waterfront bar while dancing.

When: Every Thursday from September 10 through October 8, 2026

Showtimes: Dance instruction begins at 6:00 p.m., followed by open dancing with a DJ.

2026 Lineup: September 10, September 17, September 24, October 1, and October 8. The dance style for each date had not yet been announced.

Tickets: Free. An RSVP is available through Facebook.

Ages: All ages are welcome. Alcohol consumption is restricted to guests age 21 and older.

Venue: M Street Landing at The Wharf, 608 Wharf Street SW, Washington, DC 20024.

Parking: Garage 3 at 602 Water Street SW is the closest parking garage.

Transportation: Additional travel options include the Southwest Metro Station.

Food and Drink: Heineken is available for purchase from the waterfront bar. Outside alcohol is not permitted.
