HOLY ROLLERS

Holy Rollers, a seminal Washington, DC band that first emerged in 1989 and reunited in 2025, will perform at Black Cat on Saturday, July 25, 2026. The show also features supporting acts Hammered Hulls and The Owners. Holy Rollers built a reputation for blending punk, post-hardcore, melody, and experimentation, drawing from influences such as MC5, Fugazi, Scream, Jefferson Airplane, and Wire. Known for alternating lead vocals and three-part harmonies, they released three albums and an EP on Dischord Records and toured extensively before disbanding in 1995. After a one-off reunion for Positive Force's 40th anniversary in June 2025, the band decided to continue, now featuring founding members Joey Aronstamn and Marc Lambiotte alongside drummer Ed Trask (Avail, Kepone) and bassist Graham McCulloch (Negative Approach).
