Atlas Presents Music with Mr. Rob and Friends
Atlas Performing Arts Center presents a joyful morning concert with Mr. Rob and Friends, an interactive musical experience designed especially for young children and their families. Geared toward kids ages 1 to 5, the show invites little ones to find their inner musician by singing, dancing, and playing along to a mix of classic children’s tunes and original songs. From the opening soundcheck to the final goodbye, the performance encourages children to get up, move, and learn about music in a playful, welcoming atmosphere.
Mr. Rob is an educator, musician, and performer based in Washington, DC, who teaches early childhood music for DC Public Schools, plays in the drum line for the Washington Commanders, and performs with his band, Mr. Rob and Friends. The band began as a group of friends who simply wanted to keep making music together, and has since grown into a project focused on high-quality, engaging music for early audiences, with an emphasis on child development, music education, and community building. Having performed across the DMV, Mr. Rob and Friends are dedicated to creating a musical experience that is accessible for children of all ages and abilities, and they are excited to bring their band to ATLAS for a special morning of music.
