Grooves in the Grove: Sterling Anderson
Sterling Anderson brings his funk and go-go trio to the waterfront for an evening of live music as part of The Wharf’s Grooves in the Grove summer concert series. The performance takes place outdoors in The Grove, near the stageside restaurant bartaco, with the DC waterfront as a backdrop. The series is designed as a free, welcoming weekly gathering on Thursday nights, and the August 27 edition continues that tradition with Anderson’s rhythm-driven set.
The event is family-friendly and open to all ages, making it suitable for a relaxed evening out, a date night, or an outing with children. Attendees are encouraged to bring food from any Wharf restaurant to enjoy during the show, and dogs on a leash are also welcome. Limited bench seating, tables, and chairs are provided on a first-come, first-served basis, so arriving early may help secure a spot.
