DanceInTime Salsa Lesson feat. Music Composed for the Class

On the first Saturday of every month, Bossa Bistro & Lounge hosts a drop-in salsa lesson presented by DanceInTime, a Latin dance school serving the DC area. This edition, on August 1, 2026, is set to begin at 9:00 pm on the second floor (the upstairs space). The class is designed for dancers of all levels, with instructors who aim to make salsa accessible and enjoyable for both newcomers and experienced participants. Notably, the music for the lesson is composed specifically for the class, adding a unique musical element to the learning experience. After the lesson, students are invited to head downstairs to practice their new moves to live salsa music performed by the band Tumbao.

Tickets: $10, which also waives the cover charge for the band for those who stay after the lesson. No advance purchase is mentioned; likely pay at the door.
