Disney's The Little Mermaid in Concert
Disney’s *The Little Mermaid in Concert* brings the beloved animated classic to life on the big screen at Wolf Trap’s Filene Center, with the National Symphony Orchestra performing Alan Menken and Howard Ashman’s Oscar-winning score live under the baton of conductor Steven Reineke. Audiences can venture “Under the Sea” alongside Ariel and her underwater friends, sing along to symphonic renditions of “Part of Your World,” “Poor Unfortunate Souls,” and other iconic songs, and enjoy the full film displayed on a large screen. With steel drums and a full orchestra making a splash, the evening is designed for Disney fans of all ages, from nostalgic adults to little swimmers.

Food and Drink: Wolf Trap is the only venue in the DC area that allows guests to bring their own food and drinks, including alcohol. Picnics are welcome on the lawn or at picnic areas. On-site dining options include Ovations Restaurant (al fresco gourmet buffet, reservations recommended) and concession stands offering grab-and-go meals, snacks, and cocktails. In-house seat ticket holders must use spill-safe reusable cups (available at concessions) for drinks at their seats; food is not permitted in in-house seat areas. Lawn chairs are allowed only at the top of the lawn—look for signage marking the designated chair zone.
