Pig Heart Transplant / FRKSE / HSFB / Vasterian

Featuring four distinct acts from the underground experimental and noise scene, this Monday night at Rhizome DC brings together a diverse lineup of harsh and organic sound. Pig Heart Transplant, a long-running project from the West Coast and one half of Iron Lung, delivers relentless industrial noise. FRKSE offers organic death industrial, with a new LP "Through The Slow Dusk" out now. HSFB (Head Separating From Body) is the pseudonym of multidisciplinary artist and musician Max Hamel. Vasterian rounds out the bill with what is described as "variable-speed mind fucking," pointing to intense, shape-shifting sonic assault.
