Alfredo Mojica Group

Alfredo Mojica Group brings a lively night of salsa and Latin dance music to Bossa Bistro & Lounge. Alfredo Mojica, a prominent figure in Washington’s salsa scene, is a percussionist and vocalist from Central America who began performing young and has worked with artists including Celia Cruz, Eddie Palmieri, Willie Colón, Dizzy Gillespie, Buddy Rich, El Gran Combo, and Ray Barretto.

Mojica moves between timbales, congas, and bongos while singing salsa standards with an expressive, romantic style. He is joined by a rotating group of high-energy musicians for a dance-focused set featuring salsa, bachata, merengue, and more.
