Petal Pressing

Petal Pressing is a hands-on botanical art workshop led by the mother-daughter team from Blossom Knoll Farms. Participants will create a custom, machine-washable textile by transferring the natural dyes of fresh flowers onto either a premium tea towel or handmade cotton tote bag.

The process includes selecting and arranging blossoms, pounding them into the fabric with a mallet, and adding finishing details with textile inks and botanical stamps. No previous experience is required, and all supplies are provided. Blossom Knoll Farms grew from Master Gardener Dawn’s abundance of peonies and is now operated with her daughter Katie, combining flower farming with art, creativity, and appreciation for nature.
