The Bends – If You Insist Tour

The Bends bring their raw, alternative-rock sound to Union Stage on the If You Insist Tour, with Common People. The Baton Rouge-bred, Nashville-based quartet pairs hypnotic hooks and garage-influenced production with fuzz-heavy guitar and candid, character-driven lyrics about recognizable modern personalities.

The band features Hayden Field on vocals and guitar, Ian Marmande on guitar, Jacob Rhodes on drums, and Chase Perkins on bass. Formed while the members were attending LSU, The Bends initially built an audience through extended cover sets at college bars and fraternity parties before developing original material. Their first original song, “Makeup,” gained major attention after Zach Bryan shared it on Instagram, eventually surpassing 6.2 million Spotify streams. The group followed it with “Fair Weather” and the 2025 EP *Leeward Drive*. Better Than Ezra frontman Kevin Griffin later produced and co-wrote “Virginia” and helped introduce the band to Warner Records. The Bends are now releasing a series of 2026 singles ahead of their forthcoming Warner Records debut.
