Amy Sabrin: No Words
Amy Sabrin’s “No Words” is a painting exhibition about the instability and manipulation of language. The works respond to a political and cultural moment in which leaders distort rhetoric, undermine definitions, and reverse the meanings of words. Beneath their vivid, beautiful surfaces, the paintings conceal language and sometimes unsettling truths, encouraging viewers to look beyond appearances and question whether words still carry reliable meaning.
The exhibition also explores reversals and oppositions: a world in which things may be the opposite of what they seem, and even the paintings can be viewed upside down. The gallery will host an artist demonstration and a meet-the-artist open house during the exhibition.
