Allison Russell

Allison Russell brings her acclaimed blend of roots, soul, folk, and socially conscious songwriting to 9:30 Club, with Autumn Nicholas opening. Russell is a Montreal-born, Nashville-based Grammy-winning artist whose work spans music, writing, acting, production, and human-rights advocacy. The performance supports her solo catalog, including *Outside Child* and *The Returner*.

Russell has also performed with Po’Girl, Birds of Chicago, and Our Native Daughters, collaborated with Joni Mitchell’s Joni Jam, and appeared with Hozier during his *Unreal Unearth* tour. Her broader creative work includes a Broadway role as Persephone in *Hadestown*, the Rainbow Coalition ensemble, and co-founding Love Rising, which has raised more than $550,000 for LGBTQIA+ communities.
