DC Jazz Fest

DC Jazz Fest opens its 22nd annual festival with a free evening of live jazz at The Hamilton Live in Washington, D.C. The five-day festival features established jazz masters, international performers, emerging artists, and local talent at venues throughout the District.

Opening Night presents the DMV’s JazzDC All-Stars Orchestra, led by saxophonist Paul Carr, with special guest soloists Christie Dashiell, a Grammy-nominated vocalist, and Jason Marsalis, an NEA Jazz Master known as a drummer and vibraphonist. Donations are encouraged to support DC Jazz Festival Education programs, which serve nearly 5,000 students, teachers, and their families throughout the year.
