Beatrice Likes The Dark
Beatrice Likes the Dark is a world-premiere family comedy inspired by April Genevieve Tucholke’s acclaimed children’s book. The imaginative production combines magic, music, shadow play, humor, and heartfelt storytelling as it explores curiosity, courage, connection, and the idea that darkness can reveal unexpected beauty.
When Beatrice casts a spell to create endless darkness, she learns that even the things people fear can become beautiful when they are brought into the light. The play celebrates families and communities in which every voice has a place.
