Art After Hours
Art After Hours celebrates the opening of MoCA Arlington’s fall exhibitions with evening access to the new gallery presentations, opportunities to meet exhibiting artists, and open studios with the museum’s resident artists. The fall exhibition season includes several group exhibitions across the museum, along with a presentation by resident artist Emily Fussner.

Exhibitions: The fall exhibitions run from October 3, 2026, through January 24, 2027. They include *Assembly 2026: Common Wealth*, curated by Colleen Foran; *Assembly 2026: Dusk in the Dawnland*, curated by Aaron Rosen; *Assembly 2026: New South, Ground Truth*, curated by Karen Comer Lowe; *Assembly 2026: to eat out their substance*, curated by Jessie Bandler Firestone; and Emily Fussner’s *Some Shining Coil of Wind*, curated by Amanda Jíron-Murphy.
Featured Artists: The exhibitions feature Beatrice Opokua Atencah, Michael Dela Dika, Nicholas Malik, Summer J. Hart, Michael Takeo Magruder, Jan Piribeck, Brian Smith, Marina Yacoe, Paul Stephen Benjamin, Sheila Pree Bright, Shanequa Gay, Michi Meko, Kamari Carter, Maia Chao, Fred Schmidt-Arenales, Julia Weist, and Emily Fussner.
Locations: The exhibitions are presented in the Chairmen’s Gallery on the main level, the Truland Gallery on the lower level, the Meyer Gallery on the main level, and the Wyatt Resident Artists Gallery on the upper level.
Activities: Guests can view the newly opened exhibitions, meet participating artists, and visit open studios belonging to MoCA Arlington’s resident artists.

Gallery Information: The museum galleries are closed during installation and are scheduled to reopen on October 3. The museum also offers an Innovation Studio and Store with free art-making opportunities and other activities.
Regular Hours: The museum is generally open Wednesday through Sunday from noon to 5:00 p.m., or by appointment.
Transit: The venue is accessible via the Orange and Silver Metro lines at Virginia Square Station, as well as Metrobus A76 and ART Line 41.
