WOW in the World Presents: Make It WOW!
WOW in the World Presents: Make It WOW! is an interactive, science-focused game show hosted by Mindy Thomas and Carly Q. Ciarrocchi. Two teams of “Wowzer” contestants work with the audience to transform unusual ideas into inventions through trivia, challenges, music, comedy, and plenty of creativity. Designed as a family experience, the performance encourages everyone to keep experimenting and imagining together after the show.
The event features appearances by Dennis, Gramma G-Force, and Thomas Fingerling, along with live music from The Pop Ups. Guy Raz will not appear at this performance.
When: Sunday, November 15, 2026, at 2 p.m.
Venue: Center for the Arts, Concert Hall, Fairfax Campus, George Mason University
Tickets: $75, $55, or $35; prices include fees. A limited number of free tickets for Mason students will be offered two Tuesdays before the event.
VIP Meet and Greet: A separate $55-per-person add-on includes a post-show meeting with Mindy Thomas, Carly Ciarrocchi, Jed Anderson, and The Pop Ups, plus a collectible lanyard. Availability is limited, and the add-on must be purchased separately from the performance ticket. It is not eligible for subscription packages or discounts, although subscribers may purchase it as a special-event add-on.
Lineup: Hosted by Mindy Thomas and Carly Q. Ciarrocchi, with special appearances by Dennis, Gramma G-Force, and Thomas Fingerling, plus live musical performances by The Pop Ups. Guy Raz is not part of this performance.
Run time: 90 minutes, including intermission
Ages: Recommended for ages 5 and older
Accessibility: The performance will include ASL interpretation.
Before the performance: Family-friendly activities will be available in the Center’s main lobby beginning one hour before the show.
Onstage inventor opportunity: Six children ages 9–11 may be selected to join Mindy and Carly Q. onstage. Applicants must apply as a group of three children who know and work well together, submitting a short video with each child’s name and age and a description of something they have invented. The application deadline is Sunday, October 18, extended from October 4.
