Office Closed

Sixth & I Historic Synagogue will be closed for summer break from June 26 through July 5, 2026. During this time, all regular activities, services, and events are suspended, and the building will not be open to the public. The closure allows staff to prepare for the upcoming season and gives the community a brief pause. Normal operations resume on Monday, July 6 at 9:00 am.

When: Saturday, June 26, 2026 at 12:00 am ET through Sunday, July 5, 2026 (all day).
Reopening: Monday, July 6, 2026 at 9:00 am.
Venue: Sixth & I Historic Synagogue, 600 I Street NW, Washington, DC.
Note: No programs, services, or access to the building will be available during this period. All scheduled events (e.g., Queer Collective, Grief Group, Friday Night Services) resume after the closure.
Price: Not applicable—free closure period; no tickets or fees.
