Thu, Oct 29, 2026at 7:00 PM
5015 Connecticut Ave NW, Washington, DC
Free
Featuring: Daniel Cox, Elena Moore

Daniel Cox presents *Generation Uncoupled: America’s New Gender Divide and the Crisis of Human Connection*, a study of the growing distance between young men and women in the United States. Drawing on original research, interviews, and public commentary, Cox explores how changes in dating, family life, gender roles, politics, and digital culture have contributed to mistrust, loneliness, and weakened social ties among Gen Z.

The conversation will examine the effects of the “Me Too” movement, online harassment, transactional dating, the abundance of perceived romantic choices, and the ways technology and political division have reshaped relationships. Although the book addresses fear, anxiety, and isolation, it also proposes rebuilding trust across gender, political, and generational lines. Cox will discuss the book with Elena Moore, an NPR political reporter who covers young voters and youth politics.
